In 1999, we established our presence in the northern regions with a new store in Prince George, BC. At the same time, we opened the first of what now totals four Kamloops stores, creating a vast network of stores spanning from the Cariboo to the North Coast, and the province’s Northeast.

This strategic initiative was instrumental in creating a robust retail footprint that spans from the Cariboo region to the North Coast and extends into the Northeast of British Columbia. It takes a certain kind of person to build and tame a vehicle like this 1968 Chevrolet Camaro built by Tom Katinic of TK Performance Racing. This chromoly Garrett Chassis Doorslammer boasts a 632 Sunset motor assembled by Brian Ritchie Engines, pushing an incredible 1368 naturally aspirated American horsepower. Putting all that power down the drag strip is no easy task, but a Rossler TH400 transmission and Mark Williams rear end make it a little easier.

The incredible red metal flake candy paint and bodywork, that shimmers in both the rain and shine, was done by Corvette Specialties with the airbrushing done by Nick Boose. The attention to detail is mesmerizing, with a full disassembly of the vehicle being done two winters ago for paint alongside a driveline refresh. Tom does whatever he needs to, to stay competitive in his class and continuously strives for a faster time as the 632 sings down the track, like every gearhead's orchestral dream.
