July Limited Edition
In 1997, Lordco Auto Parts marked its entry onto Vancouver Island with the opening of its first store in Victoria, the bustling capital city of British Columbia. This strategic location not only served as a gateway to the Island's automotive market but also laid the foundation for a decade of dynamic growth and expansion.
By 2007, our flagship store in Victoria underwent a significant expansion, broadening our capacity to offer an extensive array of auto parts and accessories. This milestone represented more than just physical growth; it emphasized our commitment to enhancing customer service and accessibility outside of BC’s Lower Mainland.

Over the following years, Lordco continued to deepen its roots in Vancouver Island communities. We introduced new stores in Campbell River and Port Alberni. Each new location brought us closer to our customers, ensuring they had convenient access to our comprehensive inventory and expert advice.
This strategic expansion wasn't just about meeting demand—it was about fostering relationships and delivering on our promise of exceptional service and quality products. Whether in urban centers or remote coastal towns, Lordco became synonymous with reliability and excellence in automotive retail.
Today, as we reflect on our journey from that first store in Victoria to becoming a trusted automotive leader on Vancouver Island, we take pride in the relationships we've built and the role we play in our communities. Our growth stands as a testament to our ongoing commitment to innovation, customer satisfaction, and serving as a reliable partner for all automotive needs.
Changing up the pace for July is Matthew Rusiecki and his Pro-Am/PROSPEC purpose-built drift car. The chassis is a 2007 Nissan 350Z that has been heavily modified to suit Matt’s racing style and needs. A fully built iron block LQ9 LS V8 out of an Escalade powers this car, throwing down all the power needed for a plume of tire smoke to follow. The engine features a stage three BTR camshaft and valvetrain with a nitrous kit he regularly needs to fill at his local Lordco.
The engine is mated to the stout and reliable Nissan CD009 6-speed transmission to help keep him in the competition. HSD coilover suspension, Just Engineering angle and rear arm kit, Kansei wheels, and a custom Vibrant oval exhaust built by Matt support the vehicle as it slides through every corner. A full Formula Drift spec cage in candy apple red compliments the blue exterior elegantly and keeps the vehicle occupants safe. There are big plans in store for this vehicle to come to support the increasing competition such as powering the nitrous system through a standalone can-bus module.
