This 1985 Toyota Celica built by Danny at Precision Glass through blood, sweat, and tears hosts a 1UZFE V8 engine mated to a W58 transmission with a nine-pound flywheel, stage two ACT clutch, Mark Two Supra rear end, LSD, and 4.10 gears to help put the V8 power down.
In 1996, Lordco Auto Parts recognized the potential in the South Okanagan region and opened their first store in Kelowna, British Columbia. This marked the beginning of a significant expansion that solidified Lordco's presence in the Okanagan. Over the years, the company has grown to nine stores strategically located throughout the region, including a brand-new, state-of-the-art Superstore in Kelowna.
To meet the growing demand, Lordco established two regional distribution centers in the Okanagan, ensuring efficient inventory management and timely delivery of automotive parts. By maintaining a robust supply chain, Lordco provides customers with prompt access to the parts they need, minimizing downtime and ensuring their vehicles remain in top condition. Lordco's expansion in the Okanagan region is a testament to its commitment to customer satisfaction and its ability to adapt to the evolving needs of the automotive industry.
June hosts a unique twist on this 1985 Toyota Celica built by Danny at Precision Glass through blood, sweat, and tears. The car hosts a 1UZFE V8 engine mated to a W58 transmission with a nine-pound flywheel, stage two ACT clutch, Mark Two Supra rear end, LSD, and 4.10 gears to help put the V8 power down. The car sits on BC Racing coilovers, T3 roll center adjusters, and Whiteline sway bars keeping it planted as it rolls through the corners.
Braum seats, four-point harnesses, and a custom ten-point roll cage keep Danny secured and safe while providing additional rigidity to the vehicle’s chassis. The vehicle was painted by Danny himself in 2017 in a custom two-tone paint with the original colours tastefully modified to make it his own. Impressively Danny owned fourteen of these Celica’s, starting his journey when he was fourteen. The Toyota Celica is a part of the family now and is there to stay to pass it down to the next generation.
