An Old Soul With a Modern Outlook

2025 Dec 3rd

A modern-day industrial complex is the last place you would expect to find a vintage vehicle. Those classics usually sit in a dimly lit barn from the same era, or rest under a dust cover in the detached garage behind your grandfather's bungalow. But a rat rod? That is a different story.

Jerrod's 1929 Ford Model A Tudor does not adhere to tradition. It chucks it hard out of the open roof. It nods to its heritage while delivering performance and an exposed structural design Henry Ford could never have imagined.

When the Model A rat rod rolls into view, the sunlight glints off its steel body, highlighting the juxtaposition of curves from a bygone era and today's modern sharp angles.

The big-and-little, fenderless tire setup gives the rod a raw, predatory stance. It appears to stretch forward, reaching with its front, paw-like tires while balancing onto the muscular haunches of its larger rear set. Blacked-out wheels, hole-punched visor, and countless other custom elements emphasize the mechanical nature of Jerrod's beast.

This Model A represents eight years of dedication. Under the hood, Jerrod, owner of JEKLEFAB Garage and Mod Shop, has gone all in: A supercharged 6.2L LSA snarls through the hills, paired with a 2.38-inch pulley, a ported snout, a 102mm throttle body, and Gen 3 Speed tuning.

Inside, a full cage, bucket seats, and proper harnesses ensure safety when launching this rocket.
The chassis is fully powder-coated, while the original steel skeleton wears a polished, clear-coated finish.

Jerrod's Tudor tells a timeless reinvention story of a skilled craftsman keeping automobile history alive through their own custom, modern interpretation.
