Cole's GTR is an incredibly well-done build by David and DC Automotive, featuring a custom blueprinted engine outputting 915 all-wheel horsepower and 780 pound-feet of torque on E60 fuel.

In 2022, Lordco Auto Parts made a significant leap forward with the relocation to a new Head office and Distribution Centre in Port Coquitlam, BC. This state-of-the-art facility spans an impressive 377,000 square feet and serves as a hub for the company’s operations, reflecting its growth and commitment to efficiency. The new headquarters not only replaces the original corporate office but also consolidates five existing warehouses from the Lower Mainland into one centralized location, streamlining logistics and enhancing operational capabilities.

The modern design of the facility includes a multi-level racking system that optimizes storage space and improves inventory management. Additionally, the office arena encompasses 45,000 square feet over three floors, providing ample room for staff collaboration and administrative functions. This strategic move is part of Lordco’s broader vision to improve service delivery and meet the increasing demand for automotive parts across Western Canada.

The relocation signifies a pivotal moment in Lordco’s history, as it continues to expand its footprint into the automotive industry. By centralizing its operations, Lordco aims to engage customer service and operational efficiency, ensuring that it remains a leading distributor of aftermarket parts and accessories in Canada. This new facility positions Lordco for future growth while maintaining its reputation for exceptional service and product availability.

The year started with Cole’s 1991 Nissan R32 Skyline GTR, so it only seemed fitting to wrap up the year with David’s meticulously done 2009 Nissan GTR. This GTR is an incredibly well-done build by David and DC Automotive, featuring a custom blueprinted engine outputting 915 all-wheel horsepower and 780 pound-feet of torque on E60 fuel. Diamond pistons, CP connecting rods, Tomei camshafts, and Tomei valve springs with all the machining being done by Adrian’s Machining Services keep the engine together under extreme boost. AAM Competition GT900-R Turbos with the Spectrum Motorsports T51R compressor housing mod provides all the necessary boost for street and track use. Extensive work was done on the entire fuel system, turbo system, and exhaust system to handle the power numbers David was striving for. All this work comes to life through an ECUTEK ECU tuned by Bill of Willowbrook Performance.

David opted for Linney Tuning billet A/B clutch baskets, clutch packs, input shaft, first gear upgrade, mechanical locking clips, and a billet main shaft thrust plate. The GTR was treated to a Whiteline adjustable front sway bar, Eibach adjustable rear sway bar, and WedsSport TC105X wheels wrapped in Nitto NT555 tires. Aesthetically, the main pieces that stood out was the Amuse carbon fiber front lip, custom chassis-mounted splitter, and Voltex Type 5 Carbon Fiber Spoiler. With so much attention to detail placed on the engine and exterior of the vehicle, David could not let the interior down. GTR black edition seats, a custom dry carbon steering wheel, and a complete audio system overhaul keep the driver comfortable. Whether David's cruising or listening to the engine and turbos scream past 8,000 RPM, he always wears a smile on his face.
