Lordco Auto Parts Store 83 'til Infinity!
Freshly renovated and ready to welcome customers, the newly expanded Lordco Auto Parts store at Douglas Road in Burnaby, British Columbia, opened its doors to a modern, larger retail layout in mid-December.

From the moment customers—both new and returning—walk into the expanded space, they notice how bright, clean, and well-organized everything appears. Thoughtful updates, like the addition of a colourful Kuma Outdoor Gear section, create an inviting environment. The store's flow between displays and shelving was also improved, making it quicker and simpler for customers to find exactly what they need.
Work on the expansion began in late 2024 and involved the store and adjoining warehouse. Since 1990, this location has played a significant role in Lordco Auto Parts' story and has been the go-to spot for trades across the Lower Mainland for over 30 years. When the new Port Coquitlam warehouse opened in 2021, it was time to ask what was next for Store 83. And the answer was clear—give it the refresh it deserved.
The space was gutted and renovated, with the retail footprint increasing by 50% to stock a greater selection of automotive parts, performance parts, tools and equipment, as well as other items Lordco offers in-store as well as online. The result is a modern, well-stocked one-stop shop designed to serve DIYers and professional tradespeople. The expansion also serves as a personal milestone for new store manager, Dustin Lewis.
"With my move into management, I have the opportunity to build stronger, more meaningful connections with staff and customers. I am taking on greater responsibility in day-to-day operation and enjoy being a part of the everyday decision-making that ensures the store operates smoothly," said Lewis.
Lewis and his team opened the doors to the new space on December 16, just in time to wrap the project up before the holidays.
"It was a true team effort, with support from our merchandising, project management, and store team. The staff on the ground worked through constant changes while still showing up every day for customers, and that effort did not go unnoticed. I have so much appreciation for everyone who worked on the store expansion," said Lewis.
Big thanks and congratulations to everyone involved. Your hard work made the project a success.
