Spring Lock Washers, known as split lock washers, are engineered to provide a more uniform load distribution. Ideal for situations where potential loosening from corrosion or vibration is a concern. Lock washers provide a locking spring action and are used to prevent nuts and bolts from coming loose from vibrations. They have split ends that help “lock” into the mating material, thus providing a locking feature when tightened beneath a nut. The zinc coating applied serves as a protective barrier against corrosion resistance.

Yellow zinc coating applied serves as a protective barrier against moderate corrosion resistance. Yellow zinc fasteners are three times more corrosion resistant than regular zinc.
Made from alloy steel.
The split in the ring allows it to exert a spring force and grip the bolt or screw, preventing it from turning.
They are easy to install without any additional tools.
