When you more blade for deep cutting, select the OLFA 18mm OL Extended-Depth Utility Knife. This knife includes a longer stainless-steel support channel that allows extra segments of the blade to be accessed - delivering up to 1-1/2 inches of working blade. Every cut is secured by the strong ratchet-wheel lock mechanism for confident cutting. The comfortable handle is crafted from long-lasting ABS plastic. A metal pick at the base of the handle protects the blade by taking on added jobs such as pulling staples or tucking carpet edges. This knife comes loaded with a resilient 18mm LB Silver Snap Blade for work straight out of the package. Cut continuously with eight (8) segments per blade. A quick snap of the blade accesses a new sharp edge. The simple tool-less blade change system allows you to work efficiently for heavy-duty continuous cutting. Fits all OLFA 18mm blades including: L-SOL Solid Silver Blades, LWB Serrated Edge Blades, LBB Ultra-Sharp Black Blades, and LFB Ultra-Sharp Black Speed Blades. Cuts carpet, cardboard/corrugated, drywall, films, flexible plastics, foam board, gaskets, house wrap, landscape fabrics, linoleum, plastic sheeting, plastic straps, shingles, shrink wraps, tape, twine/rope, and more.
