Red Line 20W50 Motor Oil ramps up to temp quickly and fights off the extreme conditions. It is popular in turbocharged applications; made for wider bearing clearances and racing engines that see occasional street use; has 25% more viscosity than petroleum 20W-50s; is not recommended for use in cold climates (-20°C/-5°F for 20W50); and is recommended for API SN/SM/SL/SJ/SH/SG and ACEA A3.This specific viscosity is for BMW M-cars, but with PAO/Ester/Zinc unlike other brands.
