Red Line 20W60 Motorcycle Motor Oil is not for every bike, it is for wide clearances and extreme desert temps. It is full-synthetic with PAO and Ester base stocks and 2200 ppm of ZDDP for antiwear and is recommended for V-twins that need more viscosity due to operation in extremely hot climates. It is popular for Evos and Twin Cam engines with big bore kits, stroker kits, or issues with valvetrain noise. This formula is specifically blended for air-cooled V-Twin engines with traditionally wide clearances like Knuckleheads, Shovelheads, and Panheads engines. It has superior film strength through the use of ester base stocks for protection and ring seal, and extended drain intervals over other brands due to higher quality base stocks and excellent dispersants. Motor oils and gear oils are specifically engineered for the latest high-revving four-stroke motocross bikes, ATVs, Sport bikes and V-Twins. Each gear oil product reduces the thinning effect from high temperatures. Motor oils are packed with higher levels of anti-wear chemistry like zinc and phosphorus and Special friction modifiers in our motor oils provide better wet-clutch operation. This is a variety of Two-Stroke oils to meet the NMMA TC-W3 regulations where required.
