22a Aerosol Refrigerant - 226g | RTR305

RED TEK® 22a, a hydrocarbon-based refrigerant, is designed as a direct replacement and retrofit refrigerant option for replacing R22 substitutes in commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems. 

Compatible with most common refrigeration materials and lubricants including R22, metal components, mineral and synthetic (Ester and PAG) lubricants, seals, gaskets, hoses, compressors, and O-rings. 22a can replace R22 refrigerant directly without the modification of the equipment.

• Operation - RED TEK 22a possesses similar volumetric refrigerating effects to R22 refrigerant pressures and offers improved cooling properties and performance versus R22. It can be used effectively in R22 refrigeration systems.
• Safety - 22a does not become caustic when contaminated with moisture or oxygen. Non-toxic, non-carcinogen, autoignition temperature above 800F. No long-term health risk has been attributed to RED TEK 22a refrigerant.
