Dominion Steel Flare Nut is a type of fitting commonly used in plumbing, hydraulic, and automotive applications. This type of nut is designed with a male thread to connect to a female inverted flare fitting, creating a tight seal between pipes or tubing. Flare fittings typically have a conical end that matches the flare angle of the nut, providing a secure connection. This may be beneficial in applications where space is limited or where a shorter nut is preferred for ease of installation.
  • External male threads, non flow reducing
  • Strength and Durability: Steel fittings are known for their strength and durability, making them suitable for high-pressure and heavy-duty applications. They can withstand a wide range of temperatures and environmental conditions without losing their structural integrity.
  • Flare fittings can be disassembled and reassembled many times without compromising the seal. The hex head provides a convenient grip for tightening or loosening the fitting.
  • Maybe used with copper, brass, aluminum, plastic and welded steel hydrualic tubing. Applications for gas, fuel, oil, water, air, LPG gas, refridgeration and chemicals not corrosive to brass and tubing material.
  • Offer fair vibration resistance and can operate under pressures up to 4000 psi (Pounds-force per square inch). With a temperature range from -65°F to +250°F, they demonstrate fair vibration resistance.
