The zinc coating applied to these bolts serves as a protective barrier against moderate corrosion resistance, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor industrial use.
Yellow zinc finish. Grade 8 is identified with 6 (six) radial bars head markings.
These bolts undergo a heat treatment process consisting of quenching (rapid cooling from a high temperature) and tempering (reheating to a lower temperature and then cooling) to achieve their high strength and toughness. Double heat treated.
Made from medium carbon steel. Grade 8 fasteners are heat treated and are high strength fasteners. Use with Grade 8 nuts and washers to develop full strength of the cap screw.
