We stock 90 durometer nitrile o-rings that are suitable for high pressure hydraulic service. Softer 70 durometer seals are sometimes preferred for general industrial and automotive use. Where these are preferred for quick coupling repair seals, we stock these as well. Specify G11-N90 for hydraulic service and G11-N70 for low pressure use. Our part number includes the AS568 size reference. This list is limited to popular inch sized parts, since the AS568 specification lists about 350 sizes up to 26€ diameter. Please call us for other sizes and materials. To view a complete listing of AS568 sizes, see the document provided under the Resources tab. Please note, actual cross sections are larger than the nominal size to allow for compression sealing. Cross sectional compression should be 10-30%. In addition, o-rings should be specified that are slightly smaller than the actual diameter of the rod or tube, so that they fit snugly. Ideally, they should be stretched 2% to 3% on installation.
