AUTOWASH 1 (Acid) is designed to be used in conjunction with an alkaline cleaner, AUTOWASH 2 (Alkali), in a two-phase vehicle wash system.  AUTOWASH 1 will loosen road film and soil from the vehicle surface and then AUTOWASH 2 will completely remove these soils and neutralize the acid cleaner to deter any corrosion that might otherwise occur. The dilution of AUTOWASH 1 will depend on the equipment used, the pressure available, water conditions and temperature.  On average, the recommended dilution is 1/2 to 1 oz per gallon (3 to 6 ml per liter).

When washing vehicles with a two-phase system, use AUTOWASH 2 immediately following the application of AUTOWASH 1.  It should be applied in the same pattern as the AUTOWASH 1 to allow the cleaners to have equal contact time.
