Solvable Boiled Linseed Oil effectively stains, thins & protects your most valuable assets from the elements, from salt and other chemical damages. Boiled Linseed Oil is also an excellent solution to preserve wood furniture, log cabins, wood panelling, pressure treated wood, floors, concrete walks, flagstone & interlocking stones. It can be used as an oil finish for most wood types, creating an impervious coating to water, heat, scratches & most stains.
  • The thick boiled linseed oil's formula protects against freeze, thaw and moisture cycles as it fills porous surfaces to form a protective gel film, when exposed to air. It shields surfaces to protect surfaces from everyday damage. Protect your investments with Solvable Boiled Linseed Oil's long-lasting protective seal.
  • Solvable works on concrete, cement, natural wood inside and outside your home, and more - so you don't have to.
  • Bring out the best of natural wood. Staining wood with Solvable Boiled Linseed Oil will give a warm golden tone to pine & maple while giving a darker tone to walnut & other porous wood essences as they absorb more oil. Linseed oil enhances and protects woodwork, furniture's, indoor and outdoor wood structures against damages over time and from temperature swings.
  • Avoid the feeling of walking on eggshells, easily seal your hardwood floors with Solvable Boiled Linseed Oil to prevent scratches from furniture, pets and other damages in high traffic areas. Protecting your hard work with Solvable Boiled Linseed Oil will help stop moisture from creeping in and prevents high humidity from warping cabinets, furniture, and floors.
  • For best results, apply on well sanded wood, concrete or stone that is free of lint, wax or debris. Apply Solvable Boiled Linseed Oil sparingly with a soft cloth or brush. Do not apply with a sponge. For more even penetration, dilute with up to an equal part of Solvable Turpentine or Solvable Paint Thinner. Always wipe off any excess oil that has not penetrated the surface after 20-30 minutes. Wait until the first coat is dry before applying a second coat. It can take up to 24 to 36 hours before the first coat is dry. Solvable Linseed Oil will give a darker colour to the wood compared to raw linseed oil. On porous stone or concrete, the oil will darken the stone and give a “wet” look. To test the darkening effect on wood or stone, simply wet a small portion or inconspicuous area to be treated with a wet rag before applying on the desired surface or seek professional advice.
  • Safe to use on most indoor or outdoor surfaces - bamboo, concrete, flagstone, maple, pale woods, pavers, pine, pressure treated wood, stone, and more.
  • For safety purposes, old rag or cloth soaked in linseed oil should immediately be washed or disposed in a container with water or hung flat outside to dry for a few days since the drying process can cause spontaneous combustion when crumpled. For temporary storage, always dampen rag with water and hang flat.
  • Use Solvable as per label directions and always test on an inconspicuous area first.
  • Proudly Formulated in Canada.
