This 5th wheel safety chain anchor assembly provides a backup connection between your truck and 5th wheel trailer. The chain bracket bolts onto the CrossWing head piece that mounts onto your 5th wheel kingpin. When hitching up your trailer, the chain hooks link up to the anchor plate secured over the gooseneck ball in your truck bed. This kit includes the safety chain assembly and gooseneck anchor plate. It is designed to fit CrossWing models for single-point gooseneck hitches.
