Filler Prep acts as a chemical bridge between the adhesive and the substrate. It forms covalent bonds across the interface, ensuring strong and durable adhesion. In simpler terms, Filler Prep Adhesion Promoter helps filler stick to plastic. It's necessary when applying fillers to TPO and polypropylene parts, like most late model bumper covers. Filler Prep allows the filler to get a good "bite" on the plastic and eliminates the peeling problems common on many automotive plastics. Filler Prep is packaged with a brush-in-cap can. The brush allows targeted application, ensuring coverage only where needed. With this precise application, there’s less waste compared to spraying. This 4 fl. oz. (118 ml) can contains a built-in brush to apply the adhesion promoter.
