This installer is the most accurate way to ensure that the rear main seal is set to the correct depth on the crankshaft. The installer fits over the seal, and with the two bolts included, attaches to the engine crankshaft. By alternately tightening the bolts, the seal is pulled into place quickly, easily, and with no damage to the rear main seal. Works on: 1998 – 2002 Ford 2.5 DOHC engines, 2000 – 2012 Ford 3.0 DOHC engines
