Shell Gadus S2 V220 is a high performance multipurpose extreme pressure grease. It has a lithium base along with a blend of high viscosity mineral oils. This along with extreme pressure and other proven additives makes this grease perform well under a wide range of applications. This product is designed for the lubrication of rolling element and plain bearings. It can also be used on hinges and sliding surfaces such as those found in most industrial and transport sectors. Shell Gadus S2 V220 contains additives that enable them to hold up under heavy and shock loads without failure of the lubricant film. It also has improved mechanical stability which is important in vibrating environments. It is also formulated to offer resistance to water wash out.
