Red Line Lead Substitute is a fuel additive designed for older gasoline/petrol engines which suffer from excessive valve seat wear and piston scuffing when operated on low-lead or unleaded fuels. Many engines designed for leaded fuel, even with hardened valve seats, can fail in as little as 60 hours under high load with inadequate levels of lead.
