Metric 10.9 Flange Bolts are designed with an extensive surface area beneath the head, functioning similarly to a washer. These bolts are coated with yellow zinc, enhancing their resistance to corrosion, making them well-suited for both indoor environments and industrial settings. They fall into Property Class 10.9, boasting a tensile strength of approximately 1040 MPa, or around 150,000 psi, which is comparable to the strength of SAE Grade 8 bolts. Constructed from alloy steel and subjected to quenching and tempering, they offer strength similar to Grade 8 bolts. The head of these bolts is marked with "10.9" to indicate their class.
