Cerakote Ceramic Clears are some of the strongest clear coatings on the market. Cerakote Matte Ceramic Clear MC-157 can be applied at lower film thicknesses where tolerance is critical and leads the industry in hardness, chemical resistance, wear performance, and UV stability. As a matte, air-cured ceramic clear, MC-157 can be used as a top coat over metals, paints, composites, plastics, PVD finishes, and more. It maintains color stability up to 300°F, is easy to apply, becomes tack-free in 30–45 minutes, and is fully dry after 24 hours with a full cure in 5 days. Ideal for outdoor applications, its 100% inorganic formulation is completely UV stable and will not yellow or haze. This product does not require a catalyst, should be filtered using a 100 mesh strainer before use, and must not be stored in direct sunlight.
