Permatex Maximum Temperature Thread Sealant is a high performance, solvent resistant sealant that locks and seals tapered pipe threads and fittings. Specifically formulated for aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized metal and other inert metals. Permatex Thread Sealant locks and seals threaded metal fittings. Prevents galling and protects threaded areas from rust and corrosion. Temperature range from -65°F to 400°F (-54°C to 204°C). Contains PTFE. NOT FOR USE ON PLASTIC PARTS.

  • Will not loosen in service but can be easily removed with hand tools

  • Head bolts into through holes, oil PSI sending units and sensors, oil and coolant lines, fuel fittings, rear axle fill plug, brake and power steering fittings
