Mastercool’s nitrogen regulator is specifically designed to meet the specifications of automotive A/C systems. This single stage nitrogen regulator is used to test systems for leaks when they do not contain refrigerant.

Test Systems For Leaks When They Do Not Contain Refrigerant 

• TIME SAVING TOOL: No need to add refrigerant, to search for a leak with UV dye or an electronic leak detector

• NO NEED TO RECOVER THE REFRIGERANT: This unit will pressurize an empty system allowing the user to easily find a leak

• WHEN FINISHED SIMPLY REMOVE THE VALVE CORE: To release the inert nitrogen gas

• CAN BE USED FOR ALL APPLICATIONS: Requiring a 1/4” connection (HVAC, R12, R22, etc.) as well as R134a applications

All The Tools Necessary For Testing A System

• Nitrogen Pressure Regulator - Single stage nitrogen pressure regulator made of extremely high quality materials has a 1/4 FL-M outlet connection and CGA580 (US) standard fitting.

• Charging Hose - 38" yellow nylon barrier charging hose (1/4" x 1/4") with a working pressure of 800 psi and a burst pressure of 4000 psi. Meets all EPA, SAE and UL requirements for containment of refrigerant.

• Leak Testing Adapter - Leak testing adapter includes 1/4" SAE hose connector with pressure gauge and ball valve adapter. Allows inline connection for accurate pressure testing during the insertion of nitrogen. (700 psi / 50 bar gauge.)

• High Side R134a Coupler - High Side R134a 1/4” FL-M x 16mm economy coupler is specially designed to work in the tightest quarters and snaps easily to A/C service ports.

• 1/4” SAE flare outlet port, with control valve, to keep pressure on the regulator at all times
• T-Handle for ease of pressure adjustment
• 63 mm (2 1/2”) gauges with guards
• High pressure gauge 4400 psig (300 bar)
• Low pressure gauge 1000 psig (70 bar)
