Permatex OPTIMUM Red Gasket Maker offers the higest temperature resistant available. OPTIMUM Red ranges up to 750°F (399°C); higher than Ultra Copper and Regular RTV Red. This maximum temperature gasket maker is resistant to high thermal cycling and is a sensor-safe, non-corrosive RTV. This chemical gasket maker can be used in replacement of pre-formed gaskets and is ideal for high-temperature applications such as the exhaust manifold, header, turbochargers and slip-fit exhaust parts.
