The powerful stainless-steel spring maintains blade tension but also automatically retracts when lifted from the cutting surface, when your finger is off the trigger. This combination helps to reduce the chance of mishaps and lacerations on the job. The textured anti-slip design of the sturdy ABS frame delivers all-day comfort. Heavy-duty cutting through a variety of materials is no problem with the thick stainless-steel channel that supports the blade. The large loop at the end of the handle can be used to attach a lanyard for tethering or for convenient storage. This popular safety knife features an exclusive Dual-Edge Safety Blade preloaded in the handle. OLFA blades deliver maximum sharpness and lasting edge retention. The symmetrical design of the handle means the tool can be set for both right- or left-handed preference with a simple blade flip. A toolless blade change maintains on-the-job efficiency. Works with OLFA Safety Blades: Stainless-Steel Dual-Edge Safety Blade, Rounded-Tip Dual Edge Safety Blade, Stainless-Steel Rounded-Tip Dual-Edge Safety Blade, and Dual-Edge Hook Safety Blade. Maximum cutting depth: 0.75" / 19mm Cuts bagged goods, up to 3-ply corrugate, films, foam, layers of paper/foil, plastic strapping, pallet/shrink-wrap, tape, and more.
