Castrol Transmax™ DEX/MERC is a mineral based product which was originally designed for pre 1993 automatic transmissions fitted to Ford & General Motors vehicles. Due to its inherently high viscosity index it is specified for many industrial and offshore applications where Dexron IID or Mercon performance is required.

Enhanced friction durability for smooth transmission performance.
Meets DEXRON®-IIIH requirements. Also satisfies requirements of DEXRON®, DEXRON®-III, IIE and II. Do not use this ATF in applications calling for DEXRON®-VI. Use Castrol Transmax™ Type F ATF in applications calling for Type F.
Meets MERCON® requirements. May also be used in power steering applications where MERCON® is required. Do not use this ATF in applications calling for MERCON® V or MERCON® SP.
