The CURT weight distribution hitch is a specialized towing system that provides improved vehicle and trailer control by leveling the trailer and more evenly distributing its tongue weight across the trailers and vehicles axles. Weight distribution hitches are commonly used on travel trailers and campers but can also be applied to other large loads. This WD lift handle makes setup of a weight distribution hitch fast and simple. It is designed to provide increased leverage for snapping the spring bar hookup brackets into place, once the chains are attached. It can be used for a variety of CURT weight distribution hitches, including round bar and trunnion bar, and is specifically made to fit the replacement hookup bracket #17008.
