Designed for the Powermax45 plasma system, this retaining cap holds and positions the front-end consumables to maintain proper alignment during plasma cutting and gouging. Hypertherm's official consumables chart lists it for 45A handheld drag cutting, 45A mechanized cutting, and gouging applications. It is also compatible with the T45 torch family's shielded and unshielded cutting configurations, where the retaining cap is shared between these applications.
