Cerakote Clear - Aluminum MC-5100 is specifically engineered for all common aluminum alloys, including magnesium alloys. It is ideal for polished, brushed, or raw aluminum used in architectural, automotive, industrial, and consumer applications. This ready-to-spray coating is easy to apply directly to aluminum with simple soap-and-water preparation. It becomes tack-free in 15–30 minutes and fully cures in 24 hours, preserving the true aluminum appearance while protecting against oxidation and dulling. Its 100% inorganic formulation is completely UV stable and will not yellow or haze. MC-5100 provides exceptional adhesion, chemical resistance, UV stability, and hydrophobic properties on all aluminum alloys, making it ideal for outdoor applications. This product does not require a catalyst, should be filtered using a 325 mesh strainer before use, and must not be stored in direct sunlight.
