Cerakote Ceramic Clears are some of the strongest clear coatings available. MC-156 High Gloss Ceramic Clear is a lower-viscosity version of MC-160, allowing application at thinner film thicknesses (.25 mil) where precision is critical. It delivers industry-leading hardness, chemical resistance, wear performance, and UV stability. This high-gloss, air-cured ceramic clear can be applied over metals, paints, composites, plastics, PVD finishes, and more. It maintains color stability up to 300°F, is easy to apply, becomes tack-free in 30–45 minutes, and is fully dry after 24 hours with a full cure in 5 days. Ideal for outdoor applications, its 100% inorganic formulation is completely UV stable and will not yellow or haze after curing.
